In the video, the wildebeest can be seen crossing a dangerous river to keep up with its herd. However, when the animal was exhausted and tried to climb up the reefs, behind it suddenly appeared an adult crocodile.
The cold-blooded predator immediately grabbed the antelope’s hind legs when it exposed many openings. However, the prey’s subsequent efforts caused the crocodile to encounter many difficulties.
Although wildebeests are gentle herbivores, often choosing to run away instead of using physical strength, they are naturally blessed with extraordinary health.
Faced with a dangerous situation, the gazelle, as if awakened by its instincts, struggled and used all its strength to move forward.
However, crocodiles are not amateur hunters. It tries to extinguish all hope of the antelope, by dragging its prey into deep water, then drowning the victim.
What happened next was an extremely intense “life and death battle” between the two animals. At one point, the wildebeest was almost completely submerged, and only its head remained above the water.
Taking advantage of the opportunity when the crocodile changed its position and loosened its teeth, the wildebeest jumped out of the water, and narrowly escaped death.
