A chase between the hunter, the snow leopard, and the prey, the Alpine Ibex, between steep cliffs makes our hearts skip a beat.

Mountain goats have excellent balance, often living in very steep terrain with altitudes even up to 4,600m without fear of falling. The reason this goat species lives at such a high altitude is to hide and protect itself from dangerous predators.

The goat mother and her child were climbing on a steep cliff without realizing they had fallen into the sights of two snow leopards hunting. Discovering their prey, the pair of snow leopards immediately attacked the goat mother and child.

However, the terrain was rocky and steep, and there was an incredibly high-speed chase between the snow leopard and the mountain goat. Even though they controlled the situation and pounced on their prey, the snow leopard was not able to get a hearty meal.
