And in a behind-the-scenes video posted online Saturday, the 25-year-old singer gave her fans an explicit look at the making of the 𝑠e𝑥y but strange clip.
The short film shows Selena lying on the floor of a suburban house where the video takes place.

In the clip, the former Disney star eats soap and glass, writhes on the floor of a retro kitchen and appears on the verge of a mental breakdown.
The Behaving Badly actress spoke to the video’s director, Petra Collins, in Dazed magazine about why she opted for such a twisted image. And in her extensive Q&A, the pin-up admitted that she has “a lot of insecurities” and does “weird shit” all the time.
‘The way I grew up, I always felt like there was something inside me that hadn’t been accessed. I hadn’t had the opportunity or the confidence to find it. For a long time I felt like I (couldn’t) do something like this, not because I don’t want to but because I lack that confidence,’ The Weeknd’s girlfriend began.

Selena later said that her favorite scene from the video, set in a suburb, was in the kitchen where she ate soap, lipstick and glass and then lost control.
“The kitchen scene was very liberating, losing control of my body and losing sight of myself,” she said.

Gómez also noted that she is not as psychologically unbalanced as her character in the Fetish video, but she is not a princess either.
“Um, I’m not saying I’ve ever done anything similar to the kitchen scene in real life, but I can say right now that I do weird things all the time when I’m alone in my house,” he said. the Hands To Myself hitmaker.
