Coach Jurgen Klopp ended Liverpool’s 30-year “drought” by winning the Premier League title in 2020. That happened after Liverpool beat Tottenham in Madrid to win the 2019 Champions League, with Salah scoring the opening goal. The number on the dot is 11m.

Mo Salah joined Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in 2017 from AS Roma. Salah went on to enjoy an impressive debut season for Liverpool and has been prolific ever since. Salah is considered one of the great players in Liverpool history .

Now, Salah has posted on social networks a photo he took with Klopp. Salah also said: “It has been wonderful to share all those titles and experiences with you over the past 7 years. I wish you the best of luck in the future and hope we will meet again.”

Salah has been Liverpool’s top scorer for many years and Klopp enjoys a strong relationship with the Egyptian star. However, that was thrown into doubt in the final weeks of the season when the pair clashed and argued with each other off the pitch during Liverpool’s match against West Ham.

Previously, Klopp played an important role in helping Liverpool retain Salah when a series of top clubs wanted his signature. The Egyptian has always praised Klopp’s coaching style and as a result he has flourished during his time at Anfield.

When Salah extended his contract with Liverpool previously, Klopp said: “Really satisfied. It was the best decision for us and the best decision for Mo Salah. I think Salah belongs to us. Now, this is Salah’s club. I have no doubt about Mo Salah’s best years are still to come. And that’s saying something, because the first five seasons here have been legendary.” .

Klopp’s departure could have a big impact on Salah. He was previously part of a fearsome trio that included Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. But Salah then followed up with another post hinting he would stay at Liverpool next season.

Mo Salah wrote: “We know that trophies are important and we will do everything we can to make that happen next season. Our fans deserve it and we I will fight hard.”
