Jennifer Lopez dropped her film, ‘This Is Me… Now’ earlier this month along with her ninth studio album, which Taylor Swift reportedly ‘turned down’ the invitation to feature.
The movie, which gives us an even deeper look at Jennifer Lopez‘s life, has a star-studded cast with the likes of Fat Joe, Post Malone, and Keke Palmer to name a few, and of course, husband Ben Affleck. But Swifties could have had another treat from their fave, as it’s revealed she was asked to feature.
Taylor Swift ‘turned down’ invite to feature in Jennifer Lopez movie
The Jenny From The Block singer is taking over our screens as she also features in The Greatest Love Story Never Told, a behind-the-scenes Amazon Prime documentary, which gives fans an inside look at the process of making This Is Me… Now.
In the Amazon Prime doc, we learn of the number of celebrities who either declined or weren’t available for a cameo. One of these, was everybody’s fave, Taylor Swift.
However, we wouldn’t take it personally if we were J.Lo, seeing as the Cruel Summer singer has been jetting around the world for her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Other celebs who were considered, but couldn’t make it include Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Jason Mamoa and Snoop Dogg.
But the music icon doesn’t hold any grudges, as she tells Entertainment Weekly that there are no “stars who got away,” and that she’s thrilled with the final result.
“They were giving me a list of all these amazing people, and I was like, ‘Yes, I like all of those people, but that’s not what I want,’” she told the publication.
She then urged viewers to look closely “and note that she’s not disappointed when she’s told certain individuals aren’t available.”
Throwback to the pair’s epic collab in 2013
There’s no Bad Blood between Swift and Lopez, and the two go back over a decade.
In 2013, the Swifties came out in full force to see their fave perform during her RED Tour. On August 24 while the singer was performing at the Staples Centre, the lucky crowd got the surprise of their lives when Jennifer Lopez appeared for a surprise joint performance.
Before the 54-year-old took to the stage, she explained to the crowd that her fave song to sing into her hairbrush was Jenny From The Block, and alas the music icon appeared.
Living out her childhood dream, Swift and Lopez danced the night away in sparkles as they performed the epic song.
We’re hoping for another collab soon!
