When it comes to style, Ariana Grande has quite a few iconic looks. Sweatshirts, in particular, are one of Grande’s most favorite items of clothing ever. She’s a huge fan of oversized crewnecks and hoodies and frequently pairs them with miniskirts and boots or jeans on comfy days. Now, fans thinking Grande’s latest wardrobe addition is actually a hint at what’s to come from AG7, Grande’s forthcoming studio album. Is she literally wearing the album on her sleeve? Maybe!
Grande was spotted out and about in NYC wearing a black crewneck sweatshirt with the words “yes, and?” written in a lowercase font. Celebrity photographer Miles Diggs, AKA Diggzy, posted the pics to Instagram with the caption “With your chest” and #ag7, and fans immediately put their detective hats on wondering if “yes, and?” is the title of a song or the album itself.
However, that’s about all we have to go on at the moment. Grande has worn themed sweatshirts before, including to tease Sweetener, so this is totally her MO. We may not know a ton about AG7, but we do know that it’s coming.
The singer has been dropping little hints about the new era and album for awhile, including studio shots and videos. Most notably, lipstick from Grande’s very own r.e.m. beauty in a bright red shade called “Attention” that she herself has been wearing and sent to fans seems to be a clue as to what’s on the horizon for Grande; the imagery has popped up a few times over the past month. (She’s not wearing red lipstick with her sweatshirt, but she is wearing red nail polish.)
