Kin began as a specialty houseplant business back in 2018. For the following three years, our main goal was to provide rare and unique houseplants to the Fox Valley area and eventually throughout Wisconsin. Sourcing locally from small businesses was key and we did our absolute best to do just that. We even renovated a 200 square foot section of our home into a shop so you could all check things out safely in person post pandemic.

In the last two years, we’ve worked on a few outdoor design projects and when they were complete, we just knew it was time to pivot. Creating an outdoor space from scratch with input from clients, working with small business growers and seeing it come to fruition has brought so much joy and sense of self, it feels like we’ve finally found our place. We know taking a leap can be scary and change can be hard, but change is nature and can’t wait to get started.

Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve shown Kin over the years—we truly couldn’t have done it without you. We had the best time during this chapter but we’re onto the next with wide eyes and open hearts.
