Cristiano Ronaldo fires a warning to the Kings Cup of Champions Final referee

Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a clear message to the referee ahead of the King Cup of Champions final, urging for a “fair” game against their rivals Al-Hilal. After a strong finish to the Saudi Pro League season, Ronaldo is now focused on securing another trophy.

Ronaldo, who scored twice in a 4-2 victory over Al-Ittihad, has had an impressive season. His goals in that match brought his total to 35 in 31 games, breaking the previous league record of 34 goals set by Moroccan forward Abderrazak Hamdallah in the 2018-19 season. Reflecting on this achievement, Ronaldo said, “I’m very happy. Firstly, for the team’s victory and for finishing the championship well. And then, breaking a league goals record. I’ll confess that I’m very happy. I wasn’t expecting it and it’s important for me. The most important thing is always the team. We are in good shape… We are doing well, we are improving.”

Despite his success, Ronaldo has his sights set on team glory. Earlier in the season, he was critical of officiating matches against Al-Hilal, coached by Jorge Jesus. As the King Cup of Champions final approaches, he hopes for better standards. After the win against Al-Ittihad, Ronaldo said, “We finished the league well, and now it’s time to win the King’s Cup. What I can hope is that the team can play well, that it can be a final well played, and that it is fair. That’s what I ask the most.”

This season, Ronaldo has made history by becoming the first player to be the top scorer in four different countries. He has been the top scorer in the Premier League with Manchester United, La Liga with Real Madrid, Serie A with Juventus, and now in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Nassr. However, his goals were not enough to clinch the Pro League title for Al-Nassr, as Al-Hilal finished 14 points ahead.

Looking forward to the final against Al-Hilal, Ronaldo is determined to end the season on a high note with another piece of silverware. Earlier in the year, Al-Nassr defeated Al-Hilal to win the Arab Club Champions Cup, and Ronaldo hopes to replicate that success in the King Cup of Champions final. He is eager to help his team secure this important victory and add another trophy to his collection.

Ronaldo’s leadership and experience will be crucial for Al-Nassr in the upcoming final. His words and performance on the field show his passion for the game and determination to win. As the King Cup of Champions final approaches, fans and teammates will look to Ronaldo to guide them to victory. With his eyes set on the prize, Ronaldo is ready to give his best and lead Al-Nassr to triumph.
