For herbivores in Africa, each migration is a face-to-face encounter with death. Crossing rivers is always the biggest challenge. Because underwater is the most ferocious group of crocodiles in the world.
In the river, zebras are easy prey for crocodiles. While moving towards the river, the zebra was ambushed. Each member of the zebra herd took turns safely crossing the river on the back of the crocodile.
But one member was caught by the tail by a crocodile. After struggling with death for a while, the zebra escaped death and came ashore to eat with its hooves in the air.
It was thought that the zebra herd was safe. But not! A zebra calf that lost its mother is crossing the river of death alone. Despite the danger, the baby zebra risked his life to step on the crocodile’s back and run to safety.
