Six days after its premiere, the Netflix docu-series “I am Georgina,” featuring the girlfriend of international football star Christiano Ronaldo, has become a worldwide sensation.

Georgina Rodriguez and Christiano Ronaldo have been dating since 2016, and have since started a family together, with Rodriguez becoming the stepmother of Ronaldo’s three children.
Georgina claimed that her first meeting with the football player was “love at first sight.”
“Our first meeting was at Gucci, where I worked as a sales assistant,” she recalled in an interview with The Sun.
“Days later, we saw each other again at another brand’s event. It was then that we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside my work environment. It was love at first sight for both.”
They have one daughter together and are currently expecting twins.
Ronaldo announced the news of the pregnancy in late 2021 on social media platform Instagram: “Delighted to announce we are expecting twins. Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you #blessed.”
Although Georgia currently lives a life of luxury, she has also experienced poverty growing up.

The model talks openly about her complicated life on her Netflix reality show, noting that regardless of all the hardships she has endured, she will never forget her roots.
The Netflix series takes a look back at Georgina’s upbringing and youth, her work experiences at 22, and her decision to move to Madrid to become a fashion saleswoman. It was there that she met the love of her life while he was out shopping.
“I am Gorgina” is currently ranked #1 on Netflix Morocco.
In celebration of the show’s success in Morocco, Georgina Rodriguez took to Instagram to express gratitude to her Moroccan audience.
“Georgina is completely honest and readily admits that her life has gone from ‘nothing’ to ‘everything’. This documentary is also here to inspire people,” Alvaro Diaz, director of Netflix Spain, said.
“She was a normal young woman, whose life changed dramatically the day she met the man of her life when she was leaving her job,” Diaz added.
“I Am Georgina” gives a behind-the-scenes look into the life of the couple over the course of six episodes on Netflix.
Georgina shares candid moments from her daily life as a mother and partner and shows scenes from her modeling and dancing careers, as well as her business interests.
“Many people know my name,” she says in the teaser clip. “But few know who I am.”
