Kylian Mbappe
During a UEFA Nations League match between France and Portugal in 2020, Ronaldo and Mbappe had a playful moment in the middle of the match. After the match, Mbappe tweeted the word “Idol” along with crown and goat (GOAT) emojis in a direct message to his idol.
Mbappe later played alongside Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain, having previously hung a poster of Ronaldo on his bedroom wall as a talented youngster with dreams of becoming a top player one day.

Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland has always expressed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Norwegian even said that he could not have become a footballer without Ronaldo. That is his own opinion. In 2020, when he was 23, he told reporters:
“I would love to meet Ronaldo and say that thanks to him I became a football player. For me, CR7 has always been an example.”

Rasmus Hojlund is another young striker and he certainly has a long way to go if he wants to follow in CR7’s footsteps, but at least he has plenty of inspiration from his idol. The Dane confessed:
“My idol is Ronaldo. I watched him a lot. I like his desire and the way he is always eager to score goals. He is very determined to be the best.”

As a Portuguese striker born in 1999, it is no surprise that Joao Felix is a die-hard fan of CR7. Felix expressed his love for Ronaldo in 2019 via Sports Keeda:
