The Miami Dolphins will watch today as a bitter division rival plays for a spot in the 2025 Super Bowl.
The five-time reigning AFC East champion Buffalo Bills are one of four teams still alive for the NFL championship game, and they’re the only one that has yet to win the Lombardi Trophy. The Bills can make it to the Super Bowl for the first time in 31 years if they topple the Kansas City Chiefs, back-to-back league champs, in the AFC championship game.
That’s not the longest big-game drought of this weekend’s NFL playoff teams, however. The Washington Commanders have three Super Bowl titles but last made it in 1992 under a different name. They will look to punch their ticket in the NFC championship game against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, who last played for the championship in 2023 and won it all in 2018.
