Ronaldo had planned to fly by private plane to Italy to prepare for his team’s return, but could not do so on time. Due to Spanish aviation regulations (Ronaldo’s private plane is currently parked in Madrid, Spain), the Juventus player could not travel to Turin, Italy.

Although the Italian government has approved football teams to resume training and some European countries have been more lenient with COVID-19 prevention , Spain (where Ronaldo’s plane is parked) is still strict with travel bans.
Due to the flight ban, the pilots of Ronaldo’s private plane tried to get permission to fly but were not approved, so the Portuguese player was forced to miss his scheduled meeting time on Monday morning, May 4.

According to information from Spanish newspapers , the request for permission to take off may be approved, but at the earliest it will be on Monday afternoon (Spanish time), so Ronaldo will lose a day of training and he has informed the team’s leadership for this objective reason.
Ronaldo’s private jet is a G650 Gulfstream, currently worth around £34 million (over VND990 billion), which can reach a maximum speed of 980 km/h.
Below is a video of Ronaldo’s plane taking off and landing to help him travel, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, this plane is parked in Madrid, Spain.
