Controversial evidence
“I come in peace,” US President Barack Obama said in March 2012 when he arrived in Roswell, New Mexico (USA), the site of an alleged alien flying saucer crash, commonly known as an unidentified flying object (UFO), according to the Express news site (UK) on May 2.
Obama’s statement is said to be a reference to what aliens said when they visited Earth. Many Americans thought Obama was just joking.
But when asked by reporters if alien bodies had been found at the UFO crash site, Mr. Obama said: “If I give you information, I will have to hurt you…; we have to keep our secrets here.”
A controversial new book, “ The Presidents And UFOs: A Secret History From FDR To Obama , ” claims that many U.S. presidents knew but were forced to cover up evidence that aliens had visited Earth, leaving behind spacecraft debris, alien bodies, and thousands of people reporting UFO sightings.
US Army Chief of Staff George C Marshall reported to US President Franklin D. Roosevelt in March 1942 that: “Based on intelligence sources, the mysterious aircraft discovered recently may not be from Earth but from another planet,” the book quoted a secret US government document. President Roosevelt asked Mr. Marshall and the US military to research the origin of UFOs.
In a secret memo, Roosevelt wrote about “understanding the fact that our planet is not the only place in the universe where intelligent life has spawned. We will make use of the wanderers who come to visit us.”
These secret documents and texts are part of a mountain of evidence that author Larry Holcombe of the above book presented to prove that US presidents from Roosevelt to Obama knew very well about the existence of aliens and UFOs.
“UFOs exist and aliens have visited Earth,” said author Holcombe, 71. “The evidence is so overwhelming that no one can deny the existence of aliens .”
However, the secret documents that Mr. Holcombe cites in the book remain controversial as to whether they are authentic or not.

Elected US President thanks to alien advice?
Area 51 Air Force Base in Nevada , USA has long been rumored to be a place to hide alien bodies and UFOs. This base was once recreated in the American movie Independence Day . But US Presidents have kept information about UFOs and aliens at Area 51 secret, Mr. Holcombe said.
But Dr Ellen Stofan, NASA’s chief scientist, recently said she believes “strong indications” of extraterrestrial life will be discovered within the next decade.
Mr. Holcombe believes that the two US Presidents who had contact with aliens were Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter. Mr. Reagan is said to have become the US President thanks to the advice of aliens.
Actresses Lucille Ball and Shirley MacLaine said they attended a party with Reagan, then an actor, on the night he first encountered the alien. The alien landed in a UFO, approached Reagan’s car and told him, “Stop acting and get into politics,” Holcombe said.
In addition, before becoming US President, Mr. Jimmy Carter is said to have witnessed a streak of green light turning red and white in the sky, believed to be a UFO flying towards him and then disappearing in 1969.

The US President is not allowed to release information about UFOs
Former US President Harry S. Truman is said to have ordered the Roswell UFO crash in 1947 to be kept secret, establishing the “Majestic 12”, a secret committee of military experts and scientists to study aliens.
“The late President John F. Kennedy once asked the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to give him classified documents about aliens. Mr. Kennedy wanted to share information about aliens with the Soviet Union, but there were people in power who refused, leading to the assassination of Mr. Kennedy in 1963,” said Mr. Holcombe.
Former President Richard Nixon ordered a documentary about UFOs using secret video footage showing UFOs landing on Earth during his 1972 re-election campaign, but intelligence officials blocked the documentary project.
“Mr. Nixon believed that revealing a little information about UFOs would secure his place in history,” said Mr. Holcombe.
Mr. Holcombe added that other US Presidents have also proposed releasing information about UFOs and aliens, but Congress and the government have not agreed.
