The Los Angeles-born makeup mogul, 25, who has 380 million followers to Gomez’s 396 million, was clad in a black shirt with white sweatpants with a light layer of makeup on her face.

The Kylie Cosmetics entrepreneur, with her black locks down and parted, accessorized with silver hoop earrings and a ring with skull on it as she traversed through her mansion during the day.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians beauty also included a snap in which she held her son Aire, one. She is also mother to daughter Stormi, five, with rapper Travis Scott, 30.

The series of social media posts came two weeks after Gomez, 30, amassed 381 million followers on the photo-sharing platform, surpassing Kylie’s 380 million.

The latest: Kylie Jenner, 25, on Thursday walked around her home with the camera focused on her in a series of clips of Instagram, weeks after Selena Gomez, 30, overtook her for the title of most-followed woman on the social media site.

Gomez (pictured Wednesday) surpassed Kylie Jenner to become the most-followed woman on Instagram two weeks ago

At the time Gomez surpassed Jenner, the singer’s fans rejoiced at the news, proclaiming Selena ‘the queen of Instagram’.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: ‘Selena Gomez is once again the most followed woman on Instagram. Queen is back!’

Another user said: ‘She’s back on her throne. Selena, queen of Instagram!’ while a third called her: ‘The OG queen of Instagram’.

A fourth said: ‘Selena Gomez is now the most followed female artist on Instagram and Tiktok. A global queen.’

Following Gomez’s overtaking of Kylie in followers, both celebrities took to social media to deny a rumored rift them after a TikTok user suggested Kylie had made a nasty remark about Gomez’s eyebrows after the singer-actress posted about them on her Instagram Stories.

‘This is reaching,’ Jenner said. ‘No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.’

Gomez in response added, ‘Agreed @kyliejenner. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!’

A report from SocialBlade.com days after Gomez passed Kylie on the site indicated that Kylie initially lost more than 500,000 followers in the wake of the rift, but the reality star remained at 380 million followers as of Thursday.

Selena was previously the most-followed woman on the site back in 2019 before Ariana Grande beat her to the post, with Kylie later overtaking them

Although she boasts millions of followers, Selena recently told Vanity Fair she has stepped back from social media and only has the TikTok app on her phone.

The star added she was hurt by ‘mean’ comments from trolls and also saw using the platforms too much as a ‘waste of time’.

She said: ‘People can call me ugly or stupid and I’m like, Whatever. But these people get detailed.

‘They write paragraphs that are so specific and mean. I would constantly be crying. I constantly had anxiety…I couldn’t do it anymore. It was a waste of my time.’

She continued: ‘There are wonderful things about social media – connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories.

‘But usually that’s filtered through [for me now]. I created a system. Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them. As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging.’

She has now created a ‘system’ where she has an assistant serve as a barrier between her and the comments by posting on her behalf.

‘I never got the chance to go to an actual high school. The world was my high school for the longest time, and I started getting inundated with information that I didn’t want,’ she explained.

The former Disney star has amassed 381 million followers on the photo-sharing platform, surpassing Kylie’s 380 million as of February 23

‘I went through a hard time in a breakup and I didn’t want to see any of the [feedback]—not necessarily about the relationship, but the opinions of me versus [someone] else.

She added, ‘There’d be thousands of really nice comments, but my mind goes straight to the mean one.

‘The only thing I have on my phone is TikTok because I find it to be a little less hostile. There are wonderful things about social media – connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories.
