Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a day to remember King’s life’s work and his legacy on civil rights and social justice. It’s also Inauguration Day, and Donald Trump will be sworn in as President for the second time.
Here & Now‘s Scott Tong speaks with Peniel Joseph, professor of history and public affairs and founding director of the Center for Race and Democracy at the University of Texas at Austin, about the contrasts of this day.
