Therefore, Ronaldo can afford to buy almost anything he wants. In addition to houses, yachts and a collection of watches worth millions of dollars, the star also boasts a unique collection of supercars that would make even millionaire collectors jealous.
Since he adds another car to his collection every few months, it’s impossible to keep up to date with every car Ronaldo owns. However, here’s a list of his 10 most impressive cars.
1. Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport
The Bugatti Veyron helped usher in a new era of automotive performance when it debuted. Along with its rival Koenigsegg, Bugatti’s technical achievements simply surpassed anything that had ever been produced before. The Veyron became the fastest car in the world and one of the most expensive cars ever sold at the time.
He has owned a Veyron for a long time, but in 2022 it was damaged by a member of his security team while driving around the Spanish island of Majorca. The car is said to have lost control and crashed into a wall, causing damage to both the car and the property. Fortunately, there were no casualties and Ronaldo was in another car at the time. It is unclear who was behind the wheel, but it is believed that one of the player’s bodyguards was responsible. It is not clear how badly the car was damaged, but hopefully it can be repaired and returned to Ronaldo’s garage soon.
2. Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante
Ronaldo has a huge passion for British performance cars and has picked up a few during his time at Manchester United. On the way to a United training session in 2022, fans caught a glimpse of one of his latest supercars, an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante. The drop-top supercar boasts a 715-horsepower V12 engine and a top speed of 150 mph.
This isn’t the only Aston Martin he’s driven. He’s also turned up for training in the DBX, the brand’s first SUV. The DBX is a true Aston Martin and Ronaldo was clearly impressed with it, but it seems he couldn’t help but return to the classic Aston Martin roadster afterwards.
3. Rolls-Royce Cullinan
The days of the utilitarian family SUV are long gone, giving way to modern, powerful, and luxurious SUVs. Few vehicles embody this transformation better than the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
The brand’s first production SUV has everything you’d expect from a Rolls-Royce. It’s stylish, packed with innovative features, and comes with plenty of customization options for discerning buyers. Ronaldo picked up his Cullinan just months after deliveries began. Ronaldo’s model has an all-white exterior and interior, Italian license plates, and a price tag of around $360,000. It was presumably purchased to transport the star to training at Turin-based Juventus, where he has signed a contract worth more than $600,000 a week during the 2021 season. For comparison, a Cullinan SUV would cost Ronaldo less than four days’ wages there.
4. Ferrari F12 TDF
Arguably, no celebrity car collection is complete without a Ferrari or two in it, and Ronaldo is no exception. The rarest of them all is the F12 TDF, or F12 Tour de France. It’s not a reference to the famous cycling race, but rather the classic cross-country car race that Ferrari enjoyed great success in during the 1950s and 1960s. The F12 TDF is a limited edition version of the F12berlinetta, with only 799 ever made. That makes it extremely rare by regular car standards, and a bit rare by Ferrari standards.
Ronaldo has not been too careful with his Ferraris in the past. In 2009, for example, he crashed one into the tunnel wall on the way to training in Manchester, leaving him uninjured but the car in ruins. Thankfully, there have been no reports of him damaging his F12 TDF to date.
5. Rolls-Royce Dawn
Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez gifted him a new Dawn for Christmas 2022. Rodriguez showed off the car on Instagram with a giant red bow on the hood and revealed the gift in front of the entire family, filming their reactions on their phones. Ronaldo seemed delighted with his gift, jumping in and rolling down the hood with his family.
The Dawn is Rolls-Royce’s flagship luxury convertible, with each one being custom-built to the buyer’s specifications, but production ended in May 2023. While it’s not yet known what special features Rodriguez ordered for this expensive gift, even a regular Dawn is already loaded with features, and using them all is almost an unwritten rule for Rolls-Royce owners.
6. Lamborghini Aventador
From crypto billionaires to Hollywood influencers, Lamborghini has become the car of choice for many wealthy individuals. Ronaldo, who loves to show off his cars on Instagram, posed with his Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 almost immediately after it was delivered. However, his unusual pose for the photo caused many to focus on him rather than the car. Some compared his pose to that of an action figure or even a statue.
That awkward stance aside, the Aventador itself is still an impressive supercar in Ronaldo’s extensive collection. First introduced in 2011, the Aventador was Lamborghini’s top V12 model until the launch of the Revuelto hybrid, which produced 700 horsepower and had a top speed of around 217 mph. Ronaldo hasn’t been spotted in the Revuelto yet, but given his love of Italian cars, it’s probably only a matter of time before he drives the new supercar, which features three electric motors alongside the 6.5-liter V12.
7. Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG Brabus
His SUV has been given a few extra horsepower by Brabus, a world-renowned Mercedes tuner, so it’s certainly more powerful than a regular G65 AMG. Even without Brabus’s extra upgrades, the G-Wagon is still a very expensive car, thanks in part to its impressive off-road capabilities and luxurious interior. The new wheels and extra power may hamper its off-road capabilities after Brabus, but the interior is certainly much more luxurious.
8. McLaren Senna
Ronaldo’s love of British luxury cars extends beyond Aston Martins and Rolls-Royces to his McLarens. One of them is the McLaren Senna, named after the legendary Formula 1 driver and designed with the sole purpose of going as fast as possible on a racetrack. While there’s no evidence that Ronaldo has taken the car to any racetracks, he did show it off on Instagram before the Monaco Grand Prix.
With around 790 horsepower from McLaren’s mid-mounted V8 and a weight kept to a minimum, the car is race-ready but road-legal, making it one of the most advanced supercars the manufacturer has released in recent years.
9. Lamborghini Urus
The success of the Lamborghini Urus SUV has helped push the super SUV segment to new heights, and it’s easy to see why it’s so popular. It combines incredible performance for a four-door family car with the practicality and luxury that wealthy collectors look for in a car. Perhaps that’s why Ronaldo was spotted using the Urus as his vehicle one morning in 2021.
SlashGear’s review of the Urus concluded that while it feels like a proper Lamborghini when pushed to the limit, it’s not as impressive to drive as previous models. Still, there’s an undeniable appeal to a luxury vehicle that can also carry a small family and their luggage. Considering Ronaldo has five kids, he probably needs a vehicle with as much space as the Urus.
10. Bugatti Centodieci
The most expensive car in Ronaldo’s collection is the Bugatti Centodieci, an extremely rare hypercar of which only 10 were produced. The car costs around $9 million and is equipped with a W16 engine from the Chiron to increase its power to 1,600 horsepower. That makes it the most powerful Bugatti ever released, and to this day it still holds that title.
Ronaldo drove around Madrid, stopping to sign autographs for fans along the way in early 2023. The spectacle attracted a large crowd and Ronaldo had to rely on bodyguards to get him across the street and back to his car. The Centodieci’s cabin combines advanced weight-saving techniques with minimal luxury, making it noticeably different inside to the more lavishly equipped Chiron. This is a car that even billionaire collectors would never be lucky enough to add to their collection, and a special gem in legendary player Ronaldo’s ever-expanding collection of exotic cars.
