Although he is a famous star of Marvel, Tom Holland does not like the spotlight that the audience gives him.
In an interview on the Jay Shetty podcast, Tom Holland surprisingly revealed that he had no love for the Hollywood film industry. However, he wanted to be an actor, so the Marvel star always struggled to be a part of Hollywood while maintaining his own personality.
“I really love making movies, but I don’t love Hollywood. It’s not for me,” Tom Holland shared.
“This industry really scares me,” the star confessed. “I understand that I’m part of the industry and I enjoy my interactions. However, I’ve always tried to remove myself from Hollywood to live as normal a life as possible.”
Tom Holland has been acting since he was 9 years old and became famous for his role as Spider-Man in Sony and Marvel films. In June, the actor suddenly announced that he would be taking a break from Hollywood to focus more on his personal life.
One of the reasons Tom Holland decided to take a year off from acting was because he wanted to rest more after a long period of stressful and tiring work.
