Things you don’t know about the Bugatti Veyron supercar of ronaldo

Veyron is known as the king of speed when both technology and design are at a higher level than they are today.

Officials at Volkswagen, Bugatti’s parent company, declared that the Veyron was not “born to profit”. This supercar is just a test of technology that Volkswagen plans to apply on Audi or Lamborghini cars. 16.4 means Veyron has a 16-cylinder, 4-turbocharged engine. When stepping on the accelerator pedal, the Veyron consumes 1 liter of gasoline per 1 km, 100 liters per 100 km, higher than an F1 car of the Williams racing team. The exhaust heat is enough to heat 10 families in the winter.

The grille production process is extremely meticulous, taking about 15 hours for each unit. Veyron has 10 radiators like that. The rear spoiler can act as an air brake when the vehicle is at speeds above 200 km/h. Carbon brake discs can withstand maximum heat of 1,800 degrees Celsius. There are also times when the rear spoiler is tilted 55 degrees, creating 70% of the average braking force.

The first Veyron was imported to Vietnam under the repatriation policy of overseas Vietnamese. Total value after tax is about 1,408 million USD.

Bugatti claims that the Veyron comes to a complete stop from a speed of 402 km/h in under 10 seconds, and only 2.8 seconds if the car is running at 94 km/h. Can reach 100 km/h in 3 seconds, and 300 km/h in under 14 seconds, faster than the Ford GT once known as the fastest accelerating car.

Michelin PAX tires have never been used on any vehicle in the world. The wheel is 368 mm wide, twice the size of a regular rim, this is also the widest type ever applied on a civil vehicle. The tire can withstand dragging at a speed of 80 km/h on a 200 km long road.

The process of welding the fuel tank takes up to 8 days. The fuel pump speed for the engine can be 8 times faster than a conventional type. Power is distributed to all four wheels via a 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox, the same one found in the new Golf GTI and another Volkswagen vehicle.

The car body is divided into 3 main parts and connected together with 14 bolts. After a test distance of 500 km, each car will be taken to the light tunnel for inspection and polishing for 2 days.

The number of vehicles produced is limited, according to Bugatti’s plan to only produce 300 Veyrons. The last one belonged to a customer from Europe. The car costs about 1.7 million USD in the US.
