Portuguese striker and superstar Ronaldo has revealed his desire to become a coach after retiring and is currently asking Al Nassr Club to sign Manchester United midfielder Antony.
Superstar Ronaldo , who is considered one of the greatest players in football history , will turn 40 next year. He has won 33 major trophies at club and international level during his career and could soon retire.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star has opened up about his desire to become a coach after he hangs up his boots. Ronaldo, now 39, has been candid: “I think about it a lot. I’m still playing well, but in a few years, maybe I’ll become a coach.
People say I have the right profile for this job, although being a coach is too complicated. Right now, I don’t want to retire. I’m focusing on football, my passion. But no one knows what the future holds. Who knows, maybe in the future, I can change my mind and become a coach.”

Following up on superstar Ronaldo, former Manchester United striker Louis Saha also said that the Portuguese legend could become an excellent coach in the future. In a recent interview with Esports website CSDB.gg, Saha said that the Al Nassr striker would become a good coach after hanging up his boots.
Saha analyzed: “Cristiano Ronaldo has the potential to become a very successful coach. Everyone has seen his energy and passion. Ronaldo has the determination of Diego Simeone and the charisma of Zinedine Zidane. That combination, along with all the experience working under strategists Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti as well as Sir Alex Ferguson, the knowledge that Ronaldo brings is enormous.”
Saha, who played alongside superstar Ronaldo 94 times at Man United, concluded: “It’s not just about football, Ronaldo represents a lot of values in the way he conducts himself to achieve his goals. Ronaldo is not only capable of becoming a coach, even a club president. What he does is admirable. Ronaldo is a human being who can make mistakes like anyone but never stops working hard.”

Meanwhile, superstar Ronaldo is preparing for his team Al Nassr’s Saudi Arabia Super Cup semi-final against Al Taawoun on August 14. According to Spanish newspaper El Nacional, Cristiano Ronaldo has asked the club’s board to sign Manchester United’s Antony this summer.
Antony, 24, has yet to live up to his transfer fee at the Red Devils, scoring just 11 goals and providing five assists in 82 games for the club since leaving Ajax in an £86m move in 2022. The left-footed Brazilian winger has played alongside the Al Nassr star seven times for Erik ten Hag’s side in 2022-23.
