Taylor Swift’s fans have suggested that the superstar predicted her own break-up from Joe Alwyn during the music video for her song Lavender Haze.
It was reported on April 8 that Taylor, 33, and Joe, 32, had gone their separate ways after ‘growing apart’, according to Entertainment Today.
One eagle-eyed fan has since noted that at 48 seconds into one of her most popular recent tracks, Taylor drops a match hinting at something ‘blowing up’.
The person insisted that the date their split was announced and the timecode of the video could be linked and were one of Taylors famous ‘Easter eggs’.
The pop star is renowned for dropping ‘clues’ known as Easter eggs in her announcements and songs for her fans to work out.

While the fan was the first to notice the coincidence, others were quick to jump onto the bandwagon and claimed she could be onto something.
One person said: ‘I wonder what else we’ve missed like damn.’
Another person said: ‘SHUT UP NO WAY.’
A third wrote: ‘This woman omg.’
One other penned: ‘BRB SCREAMING INTO MY PILLOW’, while another admitted that the similarity was ‘insane’.
The song talks about a ‘lavender haze’ which is the state of being deeply in love with someone where you are in the ‘honeymoon phase’, commonly used in the 1950s.

Previously discussing the topic of the song, Taylor said: ‘I guess, theoretically when you’re in the lavender haze, you’ll do anything to stay there and not let people bring you down off of that cloud.’
It is believed that the song was penned with Taylor’s ex Joe in mind.

The track depicts the story of two lovers dealing with a failed proposal, though the hopeful groom has already told members of is family who are opening bottles of champagne in a preemptive celebration.
Taylor famously penned the track with Joe, 32, who has co-written some of the pop stars songs including Sweet Nothing and Betty under the alias, William Bowery.
During one of her gigs last week, Taylor added the song to her set list as a last minute change and was seen looking emotional as she performed it.

One verse of the song reads: ‘She would’ve made such a lovely bride, What a shame she’s f**ked in the head, ” they said, But you’ll find the real thing instead, She’ll patch up your tapestry that I shred’.
Commenting on the lyrics, one fan queried: ‘Will Joe and Taylor break up because Joe really wanted to Marry her and Taylor didn’t, that’s why she cried in champagne problems at the time of “I never was ready so I watch you go”.
