The Stade Francis-Le Blé is a multi-purpose stadium in Brest, France. It is currently used primarily for football matches and is the home ground of Stade Brestois 29.
The stadium is capable of holding 15,220 spectators. The stadium is named after Francis Le Blé, the former mayor of Brest, who died in 1982.
Brest’s Francis Le Blé stadium has suffered “damage” due to the passage of Storm Ciarán through France this week, to the point that the venue will not be able to host Strasbourg on 12 November in the 12th round of Ligue 1, the Breton club reported on Friday.
“Following the passage of Storm Ciarán through [the department of] Finistère on the night of 1 to 2 November 2023, the Francis Le Blé stadium has suffered damage. “The roof of the Charles de Foucauld stand was damaged in several places. Other damage was also detected in the stadium,” Brest said in a statement.
