Special room for Ronaldo at EURO 2024

All the attention of the majority of fans is focused on Cristiano Ronaldo when information about the special room for the Portuguese star at EURO 2024 is revealed in detail.

Despite being 39 years old, Ronaldo is still dominating EURO 2024 as if showing no signs of aging. Ronaldo also made UEFA EURO history as the first player to participate in the tournament 6 times (in 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024). The first EURO that CR7 participated in was in 2004, the tournament was held in Portugal. At that time, he was only 19 years old. Ronaldo’s achievements are currently more than the two people behind him, Pepe (2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024) and Luka Modric (Croatia 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024).

According to the latest issue of Bild, a special chamber has been installed at the hotel where the Portuguese national team will stay during EURO 2024. This chamber is actually a mobile cryotherapy chamber, weighing up to 5 tons, owned by the Kaltegluck Company (Germany) and worth about 250,000 euros. Inside the cold chamber, the temperature can be adjusted down to -85 degrees Celsius, with a humidity of about 10% and the user will stay inside for up to four minutes. This is a whole-body cryotherapy to treat a number of conditions related to muscles and joints. In addition, if you are looking to reduce inflammation, increase metabolism, strengthen the immune system and recover better after exercise, cryotherapy is considered one of the best treatments.

Besides, it also promotes sleep and maintains concentration for users. According to Michael Vartmann, representative of Kaltegluck company, they had to urgently construct and install this specialized cryotherapy chamber at the request of the Portuguese national team. “Hopefully this mobile cold chamber will reduce the stress level for the players, when they are under pressure at a stressful tournament like EURO 2024,” Vartmann shared.

More than anyone else, Ronaldo was the happiest when the above-mentioned cryotherapy chamber was installed. It is not redundant to mention that Ronaldo regularly uses cryotherapy for treatment after matches. When mentioning Ronaldo, it is impossible to ignore that the captain of the Portuguese national team has applied many technologies to maintain physical strength. One of them is high-pressure oxygen technology that helps increase the amount of oxygen in the blood, heal and promote the regeneration of cell tissues. Accordingly, the ability to recover from injuries is faster than with conventional methods. That is thanks to stem cells, spinal cord cells are stimulated to function by the nitric oxide regulation mechanism.

Ronaldo also uses a physical recovery machine researched and produced by scientists from the American Space Agency (NASA). This machine is called Vascusport regeneration system with modern technology integrated in it. One of the highlights of the Vascusport regeneration system is that it improves physical fitness levels by regenerating the body’s tissues and thus helps the user reduce the risk of injury. That is also the reason why Portuguese star Ronaldo bought this machine to use at his home under guidance from a team of fitness experts.
