Liam Payne posted several videos to his Snapchat Story in the hours leading up to his death – a tragic and horrific death at the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In one of the photos that has since been deleted, the former One Direction member told fans that he was having a “great day” spending time with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy in Argentina. The couple sat around the dining table while enjoying various breakfast dishes and discussing plans for the rest of the day, including playing polo and horseback riding.
In a separate clip, the male singer said that he and Cassidy really “enjoyed” their vacation time. Liam also posted a video of him and his girlfriend with the caption “Quality time”.

As of now, it is unclear whether the videos Liam posted were actually filmed on Wednesday (local time) or those that were previously filmed but posted at the time. However, according to American media, Liam’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy appears to have left Argentina over the weekend, and with time facts showing that Liam Payne did not post the real-time videos that took place.
Meanwhile, according to Page Six, Liam’s Stories activity still took place around 5:30 p.m. However, shortly after the news of the former One Direction member’s death was announced in the media, the videos were removed from his main Snap Stories and stored in the “Spotlight” tab on Payne’s account.
According to TMZ, Liam Payne died after falling from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. According to medical experts, Liam died on the spot due to severe injuries,
Witnesses told TMZ that Liam fell from the balcony around 5 p.m. (local time). The former member of One Direction is said to have behaved erratically in the hotel lobby earlier. According to reports, Liam reportedly smashed a laptop before being escorted back to his room.
Until now, there is no official information about whether Liam’s fall from the balcony on the 3rd floor was an intentional or accidental act because the investigation is still ongoing.
Earlier this month, Liam flew to Argentina to support former One Direction band member Niall Horan. Horan had a performance there. Although the show took place almost two weeks ago, Liam Payne seems to have had a long vacation in this South American country.

Liam Payne rose to fame at the age of 16 when he participated in “The X Factor” in 2010. Despite auditioning as a solo artist, the singer was included in a group along with Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson. The group made its public debut as One Direction and quickly became one of the biggest boy bands of all time, selling out tickets at all shows and releasing five studio albums before disbanding in 2016.

In the years since One Direction disbanded, Liam Payne has been open about his struggles with drug and alcohol abuse. In an appearance on the podcast in 2021, the singer also admitted that he struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts.
