Sen. Fetterman wears sneakers, shorts to Trump inauguration ceremony

Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman took “sporting a look” to a whole new level when he sat in the front row of Donald Trump’s second inauguration ceremony wearing shorts, sneakers, and his trademark hoodie sweatshirt.

Fetterman, who is known for his laid back style and casual demeanor, braved the D.C. cold with gray basketball shorts, but seemed comfortable with this his hands in his black Carhartt hoodie. The 55-year-old stood out among other men in the rotunda, which included Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, who wore suits and ties.

Fetterman has made waves in the Democratic party as he’s taken a more moderate stance on border issues and has declared staunch support for Israel. He has also been open about his willingness to work with Trump and Republicans in the new administration, saying he would meet with the new president at Mar-a-Lago.

The Trump women went understated and glam in monochromatic looks, including Ivanka Trump in forest green, Melania Trump in navy and Ivanka’s 13-year-old daughter Arabella Rose Kushner in camel.
