But it turns out the reason she’s turning off comments had nothing to do with the Rhode Beauty founder.
‘I turned off all my comments on my photos on Instagram just for my friends. So I think I’ve created boundaries to help me,” she said in a May 2 interview on The Today Show.
“Obviously people were concerned about that. “They care about everything,” he added at the Rare Beauty 2024 Mental Health Summit.

Selena has been open about her health and mental health struggles over the years. In 2020 she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
‘I have to say I thought about it a lot. And I’ve been pulled in a lot of different directions to not say it or to be able to say it,” she said.
‘But once I did it, there was no turning back. She was very proud,” she added.

‘I wasn’t understanding my mind. He didn’t understand my reactions and my emotions. And I think that was probably the most painful moment of my life,” she said.
