Selena Gomez’s documentary will tell about the difficulties and challenges the singer encountered when she became famous too soon.
Selena Gomez has announced that she will be releasing a documentary called My Mind & Me , which will chronicle her journey in pursuing her artistic career. According to the introduction, the film will give audiences a deeper look into the challenges the former Disney star faced on her way to fame.
“After years in the spotlight, Selena Gomez became an unlikely star,” the film’s press release states. “But just as she was reaching new heights, an unexpected turn took place that pulled her into the shadows. This intimate and unique documentary will show audiences Selena’s journey over the past six years as she returns to the spotlight.”
According to Selena, this film will be directed by Alek Keshishian. He is also the famous director who directed Madonna’s 1991 music documentary called Truth or Dare. There is currently no official information about the release date of My Mind & Me.
Selena previously shared her desire to get married and have children soon on the podcast Giving Back Generation . She also thought about quitting her career to return to a normal life. It is very possible that the release of the documentary is the first step in this plan for the 30-year-old singer.
