Liverpool have their new coaching staff in place and preseason is firmly underway. Of course, the squad remains light after the two international tournaments this summer but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of stars working with Arne Slot and co.
The coaches are currently putting players through their paces – fitness tests, in other words – as they learn exactly what this squad can do. One player, in particular, has now been labelled ‘phenomenal’ for his efforts.
