Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are preparing for life after retirement and soon encountered unexpected difficulties in Portugal when worrying about education for his 5 children.
According to Digisport, the Portuguese superstar recently tried to enroll his children in St. Julian’s School – a prestigious school in Lisbon and Portugal. However, the children of one of the most famous athletes in the world, Ronaldo, were still refused admission.
St. Julian’s is known for educating the children of Portugal’s wealthiest families and its exclusive nature makes it one of the country’s most prestigious schools. While Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez hoped to secure a place for their children in the future, the school’s management refused to accept them.
It is understood that the school’s management was influenced by parents who had enrolled and opposed Ronaldo’s adoption. Because this school is where the children of the richest and most powerful people in the area attend, accepting children from 3 to 18 years old.
Ronaldo’s children were denied admission to St. Julian’s School due to protests from parents whose children were attending.
According to local media (V+Fama program), families of current students expressed concern that the appearance of Ronaldo and Georgina’s children would disrupt the normalcy of the school. As reporters will be on duty following the Ronaldo family.
“Some parents don’t want the school to be a constant target of the media, because they fear it will change the habits of all the students,” a celebrity journalist shared on the show.
Ronaldo previously made headlines when he bought what is considered the most expensive house in Portugal. The mansion is located in Quinta da Marinha, just 30 km from Lisbon, with an estimated value of 21 million euros, including construction costs and extensive renovations.
The Al-Nassr player is also rumored to be returning to Portugal, the club where he rose to fame as a youngster.
Currently, Ronaldo and his family are still in Saudi Arabia as the Portuguese superstar has been playing for Al-Nassr since early 2023 and his contract with the team will expire in the summer of 2025.
