Cristiano Ronaldo is tipped to be as successful as Diego Simeone and Zinedine Zidane in coaching, when he finishes his illustrious playing career.

The Portuguese superstar has given no indication of retiring and is still going strong at the age of 39. Ronaldo scored 50 goals for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League last season. However, he failed to score at EURO 2024.
Recently, former teammate Louis Saha believes that Ronaldo will soon move into coaching and can achieve great success. “Cristiano Ronaldo has the ability to become a very successful coach, we all see his energy and passion,” Saha said.
“He will have the desire of Diego Simeone and the charisma of Zinedine Zidane. That combination, as well as all the experience of working under Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and Sir Alex Ferguson, the knowledge he has is more than enough. What he has done is admirable. Of course, Ronaldo has made mistakes like everyone else, but he has never stopped working hard.”
“Ronaldo has proven everything he needs to prove. So he has no obligation to do anything else now. He is the greatest ambassador for sports. I have not seen any athlete in the world sacrifice as much as he has.”
“Some people will call him obsessed with success or crazy, but he is the greatest to ever do it. I respect that player and that person, not only because I played with him, but also because of what he did in football.”
Ronaldo has returned to training with his teammates at Al Nassr. His contract with the Middle Eastern team has 12 months left and the two sides are negotiating to renew it. CR7 himself has not decided to stop playing and may still want to play at the 2026 World Cup with the Portuguese national team.
