Ronaldo still cannot win against Al-Hilal

After Al-Hilal officially won the championship from the previous round, this morning’s match (May 18) with Al-Nassr was only a formality and honor for the winning team.

Entering the match, host Al-Nassr appeared determined to win 3 points after 3 consecutive losses against the champion. Less than 1 minute after the ball rolled, Ronaldo assisted Otavio to shoot. Unable to stop opening the scoring at 24 seconds of the match.

With this assist, Ronaldo reached the milestone of scoring 44 times in 44 goals (with 11 assists) for Al-Nassr.

Some time later, Ronaldo had more opportunities to double the gap but failed when facing goalkeeper Al-Hilal when the shot went out. Towards the end of the match, Ronaldo and his teammates created more pressure but still could not double the gap.

Attacking aggressively in the last minutes, Al-Nassr still could not win 3 points against Al-Hilal

In the 5th minute of extra time of the second half, Mane fouled an Al Hilal player in the penalty area, but the referee did not blow a penalty and allowed the match to continue. 

After being advised by the VAR team, he changed his decision and pointed to the penalty spot. Aleksandar Mitrovic did not miss the opportunity to score the equalizer for the away team from the penalty spot.

In the end, the match ended with a score of 1-1. Al-Nassr has lost for the 4th time in a row against Al-Hilal. The gap between the two teams on the Saudi Pro League rankings is still 12 points.
