Cristiano Ronaldo poured cold water on teammate Pepe’s head, as Portugal trained in preparation for the match against Belgium on June 24.
Ronaldo’s prank on Pepe
Realizing Pepe was sitting relaxed on the sidelines, Ronaldo approached and poured water on his longtime teammate’s head. The Porto midfielder was startled but immediately responded with a smile when he realized his close friend’s prank.
Pepe, 38, and Ronaldo, 36, are Portugal’s two most experienced stars at Euro 2021. The pair started all three of Portugal’s group stage matches. Pepe has enjoyed an impressive season with Porto and has played alongside his younger brother Ruben Dias for the national team. Ronaldo, meanwhile, scored five goals to help Portugal overcome the group of death.

With 109 goals, Ronaldo equaled Ali Daei’s international scoring record . If he scores in the match against Belgium in the round of 16, the Juventus striker will set a new record. “Congratulations to the whole team! Thank you for your unconditional support,” Ronaldo wrote on Twitter after the 2-2 draw with France.
