Cristiano Ronaldo invited a Brazilian artist to sing for his mother’s birthday, and gave her a Porsche Macan.
Dolores Aveiro celebrated her 69th birthday on December 31, and her son threw her a party in her hometown of Madeira, Portugal. Knowing that her mother was a fan of Brazilian singer Luan Santana, Ronaldo invited the artist to his home to sing for her. Dolores was moved to see Santana, burst into tears and ran to hug the artist. Ronaldo gave Santana a Rolex watch as a thank you.

Ronaldo also gave his mother a Porsche Macan, which costs around $100,000, according to the company’s Portuguese website. His eldest son Cristiano Junior took his grandmother to see the car, and once again she burst into tears and hugged him.
In another part about the party, when he saw his mother crying, Ronaldo said and laughed: “Mom, don’t cry, or your makeup will be ruined.”
Ronaldo’s sister Katia Aveiro praised her brother for his filial piety in organizing this party. “Mom cried because of happiness, and because her son remembered her, not because of the value of the gift,” she wrote on Instagram . “Take care of your parents, live a long life.”
Ronaldo is Dolores’ youngest child, with three older siblings. She used to be a cook and cleaner, and her husband, a gardener, raised four children in poverty. However, her husband, Jose Aveiro, was an alcoholic and died in London in 2005, when Ronaldo was playing for Man Utd. Dolores once said that if he had not had a talent for football, Ronaldo would have had to work as a construction worker.
Ronaldo spent the entire two-week holiday with his family, before returning to training with Al Nassr for a training camp in China. He has just become the player with the most goals in 2023, in all competitions for players playing in a national championship. With 54 goals, Ronaldo surpassed his juniors such as Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. He said he will repeat this achievement in 2024, at the age of 39.
