Al Nassr Club is said to be preparing to welcome back superstar Cristiano Ronaldo after the summer break.
After a failed campaign at Euro 2024 with Portugal, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to soon return to join his teammates for Al Nassr.
According to reports from Arriyadiyah, the 39-year-old will return to training with the team in Marbella, Spain, on Saturday, August 3 (Spanish time). In addition, center-back Aymeric Laporte is also expected to return during the same time to get into the rhythm with his teammates.

Ronaldo’s return is extremely necessary for Al Nassr at this time, because the giant in the Saudi Pro League is going through a terrible pre-season with 2 losses, 3 draws and only 1 win.
The two quality additions will give Al Nassr a boost in confidence for the friendly against Granada, Ronaldo’s favourite opponent during his time at Real Madrid, and the next friendly against Almeria. It is not yet clear whether Ronaldo will be able to participate in either match, but it is expected that the player will be involved in some part of the above confrontations.
Last season, Ronaldo maintained his fearsome scoring form when he set a record with 35 goals in 31 appearances in the Saudi Pro League, thereby excellently winning the title of top scorer of the tournament. However, the above achievements were still not enough to help Al Nassr win the championship as they had to finish behind their rivals Al Hilal.

Ronaldo also scored six goals and provided one assist in his first seven games of the AFC Champions League campaign, where Al Nassr were eliminated by Al-Ain in the quarter-finals on penalties. The Portuguese superstar’s other three goals this season have come in the King’s Cup, where Luis Castro’s side lost 5-4 on penalties to Al-Hilal in the final after a 1-1 draw.
