Commenting on TVSporten, former player Michael Owen predicted that Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo will pursue a career in football after retiring.
Ronaldo is set to turn 40 in February next year and with less than a year left on his current contract with Al Nassr, the prospect of the Portuguese player ending his playing career next summer is entirely possible.
There have been many speculations about the next steps of the striker born in 1985 after he no longer steps on the grass and according to the opinion of English football legend, Owen , the former Juventus star can become a strategist, even Ronaldo can completely sit in the hot seat at his two old teams, Real and Man United.
“It’s interesting to speculate about Ronaldo’s future. Looking at the big picture, I have a feeling he wants to coach Portugal. He has the qualities to be a coach in the future, you never know. Of course, if he does well, Ronaldo can hold the table at big teams like Man United or Real Madrid, clubs that would like to have his services , ” Owen told TVSporten.
