The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens ensured a rematch in the divisional round that oddsmakers have set as a near-even matchup. The No. 2 Bills opened as wafer-thin favorites for their grudge match against the team that, in Week 4, handed them their worst loss in three years. But, in just a day, the No. 3 Ravens had moved (as we predicted) into the favorite position with a tiny one-point spread. The Bills’ wild-card win was the seventh time they have won a game this year by 20-plus, good enough for the best mark in the league. Second behind them? Of course, the Ravens, with five wins of 20-plus.
Fans of football surely are both thrilled and pained at this matchup. No matter what happens, one of the longtime top two favorites for regular-season MVP — Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson — will be out of the playoffs before reaching the conference championship.
