Pentagon insists it is not hiding aliens and UFOs from the public

The United States is not hiding alien technology or extraterrestrial beings from the public, according to a new Pentagon report.

On March 8, the Pentagon released the results of an investigation conducted by the Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), a government office created in 2022 to detect and, when necessary, mitigate threats including anomalous, unidentified, airborne, underwater, and trans-environmental objects.

“A consistent theme in popular culture involves the particularly persistent narrative that the U.S. government has recovered a number of spacecraft and extraterrestrial remains, and that it has operated one or more programs to recover alien technology while concealing it from Congress and the American people since the 1940s,” the report said. “The proliferation of television shows, books, films, and massive internet and social media content… likely has influenced public discourse on this topic and led some segments of the population to believe it.”

The Pentagon report stressed that AARO investigators were given full access to all sensitive U.S. government programs and reviewed all official government investigative efforts since 1945. AARO investigators also studied both classified and unclassified archives, conducted about 30 interviews, and collaborated with intelligence community and Defense Department officials responsible for overseeing the special access program.

According to AARO, no US government investigation, academic study, or official review board has confirmed any sightings of UAPs (unexplained anomalous phenomena) representing extraterrestrial technology.

Additionally, there is no evidence to support the allegations that the US government and private companies have recovered alien technology.

The Pentagon report was released after AARO acting director Timothy Phillips told reporters on March 6 that the US military is developing a UFO detection and sensing system called Gremlin.
