Cristiano Ronaldo has been named in the top 50 highest-earning athletes of all time in 9 sports. This group of athletes has ‘taken over’ a total of 50 billion USD from the world sports village.

This list includes 12 NBA basketball players and is topped by the legendary Michael Jordan. In his 19-year career, the American basketball legend has earned a total of 3.75 billion USD, much more than the second-placed golf star Tiger Woods ($2.66 billion).

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest-earning football player in his career with $1.92 billion (about VND44,974 billion). This fortune helps the Portuguese star take third place in the list of highest-earning athletes of all time.

If only counting 2023, this Al Nassr Club player will be the highest earning athlete in the world sports with 275 million USD, more than double that of rival Lionel Messi (130 million USD).

Cristiano Ronaldo’s staggering income is carefully calculated from salary, bonuses, royalties, memorabilia sales, sports deals, advertising costs, event attendance, etc.

The second richest soccer player in history is none other than Lionel Messi. The Argentine star has $1.67 billion in his pocket and is tied for sixth place on the list alongside golf legend Jack Nicklaus.

Lionel Messi is even richer than his current boss at Inter Miami, the famous footballer David Beckham. The handsome former English footballer David Beckham has a total asset of up to 1.5 billion USD.

Roger Federer is the only tennis player to make it into the top 10 of this list with a fortune of up to 1.49 billion USD and ranked 9th. He is far ahead of his colleague – junior Rafael Nadal (690 million USD, ranked 26th).
