OFFICIAL: Liverpool say goodbye to first 10 players from Arne Slot era

Thiago and Joel Matip are among the first 10 players confirmed to leave Liverpool this summer 2024.

Liverpool in the summer of 2024 certainly has a lot of work to do, when The Kop officially begins a new era – the post- Jurgen Klopp era.

As much as there are expectations, so much hope from Liverpudlians will be for Arne Slot, who will take charge at Anfield from the new season.

After many changes from senior personnel and management of the team, Liverpool recently continued to make another big announcement, which is that the team confirmed saying goodbye to a series of players, including veterans and players who graduated from the academy.

Thiago Alcantara and Joe Matip are the two most notable stars, although we know that everything was announced before, when the contracts of both sides expired and no new agreements were signed, however, for Liverpool fans at this time, it is still quite sad news.

In another development, the most anticipated academy-grown stars such as Adam Lewis, Melkamu Frauendorf and Mateusz Musialowski were all allowed to leave and the club will find the most suitable place for their future development, and wait for the day to return.

Nathan Giblin, Francis Gyimah, Luke Hewitson, Niall Osborne and Cody Pennington are among the other Liverpool academy players to leave. They will have to look for work elsewhere.
