Cristiano Ronaldo once responded to NBA Legend LeBron James’ comments on his bicycle kick for Real Madrid against Juventus. The pair, two of the greatest sportspersons of their generation, share a great respect for each other’s achievements.
LeBron made the post in 2018 after the Portuguese legend found the back of the net for Los Blancos in a 2-0 UEFA Champions League quarterfinal win over Juventus.
James took to Instagram to make a post that said:
” Are you not entertained!? @Cristiano That’s not even fair Nasty!!”
Cristiano Ronaldo in turn replied:
“Glad you liked @kingjames Next objective…a slam dunk? will need some tips…!”
The interaction between the two sporting legends was enough to excite fans of both football and basketball.
LeBron James and Ronaldo are both 39 years old and in the twilight of their careers. They are both signed to Nike for life due to their legendary influence in their respective sports.

NBA legend LeBron James named Real Madrid and Portugal legend, Cristiano Ronaldo as one of his favorite football players back in 2020. Both 39-year-old athletes are considered two of the greatest in their respective sports.
The Portuguese superstar is one of the most prolific goalscorers in history, finding the back of the net 759 times and providing 238 assists in 1013 club games. He also scored 130 and assisted 45 goals in 212 games for his country. His incredible consistency has seen him claim five Ballon d’Or awards.
Speaking in a Q&A back in 2020, LeBron James was asked about his favorite football players. He said (via AS):
“I got a few great soccer players. First off every player on Liverpool. STRAIGHT UP every player on Liverpool…Mbappe, Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo those guys are legends.”
LeBron James concluded, saying:
“Man…. I love those guys. I love Cristiano Ronaldo. I love Neymar, love Mbappe. Those are a few of them.Messi, yeah, for sure. Messi, legend. Zlatan? His crazy ass. He’s crazy, but he damn good, though.”
James is a legendary figure in his own right, with four NBA Championship wins and 20 appearances on the NBA All-Star team.
