An unidentified flying object (UFO) caught on camera by a drone in Ukraine has left soldiers in shock.

A video circulating on social media shows Ukrainian soldiers spotting an unidentified flying object ( UFO ) while flying a reconnaissance drone (UAV) over the battlefield.
The video was shared on social network X by the account albafella, which regularly posts updates on the war in Ukraine, according to the Daily Mail on February 28.
The images were captured this month by Battalion 406, using one of more than 300 UAVs equipped with thermal imaging cameras in the Ukrainian military.
The UAV was flying at an altitude of more than 150 meters above sea level when soldiers discovered the mysterious object, estimated to be nearly 50 kilometers away.
In the video, one soldier asks “why isn’t it firing missiles at us”, while another wonders why the object isn’t moving.
“It’s definitely a UFO. It’s stationary,” one soldier commented. Another soldier suggested zooming in on the camera, before another suggested flying the UAV into the object.
Since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine in February 2022, there have been several cases of strange objects being discovered.
According to Newsweek , in January, Governor Vasily Golubev of Russia’s Rostov region said he witnessed a “small-sized, spherical object flying in the wind” at an altitude of about 2.5 kilometers.
At that time, the Pivyet Rostov website reported that “a UFO in the shape of a sphere was shot in the sky”.
In April 2023, a Russian military officer spotted a UFO near a nuclear power plant near the Russian city of St. Petersburg, prompting authorities to put the agency on “special response status.”
