The city of Milwaukee continues to honor the life and career of “Mr. Baseball,” Bob Uecker.The Milwaukee Brewers announced the passing of Uecker on Thursday. Uecker was 90 years old.Thursday, “Light the Hoan” announced that the bridge was lit up blue and yellow to pay tribute to Uecker. “He was a true Milwaukee treasure,” they posted on Facebook. “His humor, warmth, and love for our city touched so many lives. Thank you, Mr. Baseball, for the memories that will always light up our hearts.”The Mitchell Park Domes’ HALOS were also be blue on Thursday as a tribute to Uecker. “Thank you for all you have done for the city and for all of baseball,” the Domes wrote on a post. “You will be greatly missed.”
