Miley Cyrus will appear on Netflix‘s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with longtime talk show host David Letterman.
Letterman will interview the singer and basketball player Charles Barkley in the two episodes making up the recently renewed season 5 of the show at the streamer.
In the teaser for the new episodes, Cyrus reveals that the pilot for TV show Hannah Montana, thanks to which she had her big break, initially featured another actress.

“They did shoot a pilot with another girl,” she says in the trailer, explaining why the role was eventually recast after showing the episode in a focus group.
“They weren’t relating with her. I love them for that,” Cyrus says with a smile.
Elsewhere on the streaming platform, Regency-era drama Bridgerton has scored a massive achievement.

The first part of season 3 has, comprised of four episodes out of eight, debuted earlier this month to a huge 45.1 million views and 180 million hours viewed, according to Deadline.
Focused on the love story between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), the first half of this new instalment follows their friends-to-lovers arc coming to a new development as Pen is determined to find a husband.
Netflix’s recent model of releasing seasons in two chunks has impacted the viewership numbers. While the hours watched for season 3 are lower than season 2’s debut of 193 million, it is worth nothing that only half of season 3 is available, as compared to all eight episodes of season 2 dropping at once in March 2022.
