Michael B Jordan and Steve Harvey proved there’s no love lost between the pair, as they were spotted at an NBA game together on Thursday in Abu Dhabi.
The Black Panther actor, 36, and the TV personality, 66, enjoyed a hug after the Abu Dhabi Games despite the star’s famous split with Steve’s daughter Lori Harvey.
Michael and Lori were Hollywood’s It couple until they called it quits in June 2022 after a year together.
Time clearly heals all wounds, however, as Michael and Steve looked ecstatic to be seeing each other, as seen in a short video shared to the NBA Instagram account.
‘All smiles at #NBAinAbuDhabi!,’ the cute clip was captioned.
The handsome star’s move follows the revelation that he isn’t looking back after the split from the stunning model, who recently has been linked with actor Damson Idris.
‘I’m a firm believer in that what’s for you is what’s for you, and coming out of that situation — not to give it, you know, any energy and kind of move from that — is you know, it was an experience for me to grow and learn,’ Michael told CBS’ Gayle King in February 2022.
‘I’m in my light right now,’ the actor-turned-director told King. ‘This is my year. There’s so much going on, so many blessings, so many great things.’
At the time of the split, however, the Creed actor had erased his Instagram account of any trace of the former romance — a hint that the split hadn’t necessarily been smooth.
Around the same time, Lori told Us Weekly that she was seeking a solid relationship like the one her parents Steve Harvey and Marjorie Elaine Harvey enjoyed. Steve had adopted Lori when he married Marjorie Elaine in 2007.
Steve may have been a little bummed out by the breakup, as he was a big fan of Lori dating the action hero, per his 2021 interview with People.
‘I don’t speak publicly about this type of stuff, but I’m happy for my daughter right now. I really am,’ the comedian confessed at the time.
‘It’s the first time I’ve been happy for her [in a relationship]. And it’s the first time she’s been happy. He’s just a good guy.
‘If he wasn’t, get him out of here, ’cause I have ways,’ the Family Feud host continued.
‘But I can’t say nothing bad, man. He’s just got a great family, man. He’s a spiritual guy.’
Earlier this year, it was reported Michael had reportedly grown close to British model, Amber Jepson, following a string of dates.
