Superstar Lionel Messi shared an emotional moment with his wife Antonela and three sons after returning to the US from an Asian tour with Inter Miami.

The veteran striker posted two photos, one of him and his wife, the other of them with their three sons Thiago, Mateo and Ciro. The Argentine superstar looked happy in both photos but he did not write any captions. The two photos of Messi’s family attracted nearly 8 million “likes” in half a day.
Messi and his teammates have just returned to the US after a tour of Asia since late January. The striker born in 1987 is known as a family man, an introvert. His personal page, in addition to photos of training and matches, is filled with moments with his wife and three children. Unlike his teammates who often party after matches, Messi spends all his free time with his wife and children.

Messi and Inter Miami’s pre-season tour did not go as planned, winning only one of their six games. The only win was a 4-1 victory over the Hong Kong All-Stars, with Messi missing the game due to injury, which angered the crowd and led to them booing and demanding their money back. After leaving Hong Kong, Messi apologized to the crowd, explaining that he felt unwell in his thigh and did not play.
In the remaining 5 matches, Messi played but did not complete the entire match. Inter Miami lost 0-1 to Dallas in the US before going to Asia for a tour. The American team lost 3-4 to Al Hilal, suffered a 0-6 defeat to Al Nassr and lost 3-4 on penalties to Vissel Kobe. On the morning of February 16 (Hanoi time), Messi and his teammates played against Newell’s Old Boys – his childhood team – at DRV PNK home stadium. On February 22, Inter Miami started the new MLS season with a match against Real Salt Lake.
