“I don’t feel pressure, I don’t think about Cristiano. I say this with all respect for him,” Goal quoted Mbappe as saying. “Yes, Cristiano is my idol, but I don’t want to chase anything. I just want to be Kylian. I only have the pressure to adapt to the team.”

Talking about his first goal in La Liga scored in the early morning of September 2, the former PSG star said: “It was a great moment. I dreamed of scoring at this legendary stadium, which I consider the best in the world. I am happy. The fans and everyone at the club gave me a lot of love, even when I didn’t score.”

According to Mbappe, not scoring in 3 matches may not be heavy for other players but it is a big pressure for him.

“The support from the club and the fans is incredible. It gives me the confidence to try to help the team win,” Mbappe concluded.

In the early morning of September 2, the French striker scored 2 goals to help Real Madrid beat Betis 2-0 in round 4 of La Liga. This was also the first time Mbappe scored for the “Galaxy” in La Liga after 4 starts.

After 4 rounds, Real rose to 2nd place with 8 points, 4 points behind Barcelona. After the national team matches, “Los Blancos” will play away against Real Sociedad.
