Robbie is on that long list of female actors seeking more challenging roles for Hollywood women. One great anecdote shared concerns Robbie’s audition for her role in ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’’’ with Leonardo DiCaprio. During an audition, Robbie conveyed her character’s frustration by slapping DiCaprio — HARD — in the face. Director Martin Scorsese was stunned but also captivated. Robbie won the day.
