Australian actress Margot Robbie was feeling poorly but still attended the premiere of Saltburn, a film produced by her and her husband’s production company LuckyChap
Margot Robbie made her long-awaited red carpet premiere after the SAG-AFTRA strike came to an end, but sadly she was speechless – and not in a good way.
The Australian actress last graced a red carpet in July for the premiere of her movie Barbie, and a few days later Hollywood shut down due to the actor’s strike. With the longest strike in the union’s history over, Margot dusted off her dress and returned to the spotlight for the Los Angeles premiere of the movie, Saltburn.Though she didn’t appear in the movie, she produced it along with her husband Tom Ackerley. And while reporters were begging for her to answer their questions and sit for interviews, she couldn’t talk, the Mail reported.

She repeatedly gestured to her throat and shrugged her shoulders while reporters tried to get her to talk with them. Lucky for her, her outfit spoke for itself.
Margot wore a dark brown strapless dress with a sheer corset top and a skirt that reached the floor. Her blonde hair was down and parted in the middle and fell down her back in loose waves. Her representative later confirmed that the actress lost her voice and couldn’t talk.
Also taking the red carpet was Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi who both star in the black comedy/psychological thriller film. Barry plays Oliver Quick who is invited to Jacob’s character Felix Catton’s family estate for a summer where things aren’t what they seem.

Margot runs her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment with her husband Tom, and friends Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara. The company has produced movies like Barbie, I, Tonya, and Promising Young Woman, all except the last starring Margot.
Tom and Margot first met on the set of a film in 2013 and began dating a year later. The two got married in Byron Bay, Australia in December 2016 and they currently live in Los Angeles.
While the actor’s strike was ongoing, Margot was one of the many prominent actors to show their support for the strike and took to the front lines to protest. The 33-year-old took part of a march in September from Netflix Studios to Paramount Studios in West Hollywood.
