“Look Forward”: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Confirms Attendance at Pre-WrestleMania XL Event Despite Tight Schedule

On the occasion of the celebration of WrestleMania’s 40th anniversary, WWE will hold its traditional convention before the glorious event. This year it will be known as WWE World (a name that will replace the WrestleMania Axxess of previous years). The convention will run over five days and will feature the collaboration of Fanatics.

Fans who purchase their tickets can meet some of their favorite superstars at signing sessions. However, that’s not all. They can have their picture taken with the stars, participate in a WWE 2K24 tournament and, of course, purchase a variety of merchandise at what has been described as the “largest Superstore in WrestleMania history.” And as a special treat for them, the Rock just has confirmed his presence at WWE World! What did he say? Let’s find out.

The Rock declares his arrival for WWE World prior to WrestleMania 40

Just a few minutes ago, The Rock announced that he would be present at the convention. The Brahma Bull has confirmed that “The Final Boss” will be part of the opening day lineup, which takes place tomorrow, Thursday. Taking to Twitter, the Rock tweeted, “I look forward to it. Thursday 4pm. – Final Boss #EnjoyTheRide.” We should remember that Cody Rhodes, with whom he has a fierce rivalry, will also be present on the same day.

WWE has also confirmed the presence of some of its most prominent superstars, as well as other personalities from the company. Head of Content Triple H will appear on the panel and be a part of a special episode of The Pat McAfee Show. One of the most powerful names in the company has confirmed his presence with Johnson taking part now. And why wouldn’t he be a part of such a special WrestleMania related event? After all, this WrestleMania he would be inducting his grandmother into the Hall of Fame.

The Rock to induct Lia Maivia

Lia Maivia’s entry into the WWE Hall of Fame for the class of 2024 has been confirmed. In a Facebook video, The Rock confirmed that he would induct his grandmother Lia Maivia into the WWE Hall of Fame. The footage features the Hollywood actor visiting his family’s rest area in Honolulu. The Brahma Bull also gave a summary of the life and career of the Hall of Fame inductee.

In 1982, and after the death of her husband Peter Maivia, Ofelia Fuataga led the way for Polynesian Pro Wrestling, National Wrestling Alliance territory in Hawaii. As one of the first promoters of the business, Lia achieved a historic moment for Hawaiian wrestling by hosting A Hot Summer Night. The event hosted more than 20 thousand spectators to see names such as Antonio Inoki, André the Giant, Dusty Rhodes, etc.

Lia played an instrumental part in developing the family wrestling lineage that continues to grow to this day. Nevertheless, The Rock has a lot on his plate as he navigates through his familial responsibilities inside and outside the ring. What do you make of the fact that Dwayne Johnson will be at WWE World?
