Lionel Messi announces ‘huge’ collection of rival jerseys

Owning a Lionel Messi jersey is a source of pride for many players. In return, Messi also has a huge collection of his opponents’ jerseys.

Messi has just shown off his entire collection of rival jerseys, which fills a room on his personal Instagram page. In the photo, Messi and his son Thiago sit in the middle of a room filled with jerseys placed on the ceiling, under the glass floor, and hung all around the walls. His

13-year playing career has brought Messi all kinds of jerseys, from big clubs and countries. The center of the frame is of course Messi’s number 10 jersey for both Barcelona and the Argentina national team.

His opponents’ shirts have unsurprisingly attracted a lot of attention on social media. In just one day of posting the photo, more than 3.6 million of his Instagram followers have liked it.

The list of players ranges from Raul to Xabi Prieto. Many of his teammates from Barcelona and the Argentina national team are also in the collection.

Notably, the shirt of Manuel Lanzini (West Ham team) is right next to Messi’s shirt even though the two have never played against each other, making this name famous. Simply because this is considered a prestigious position suitable for names like Luis Suarez.
